Permatex® Anti-Seize Lubricant

Lubricants

Features and Benefits:

A highly refined blend of aluminium, copper and graphite lubricants. Use during assembly to prevent galling, corrosion and seizing due to weathering or chemicals. Anti-Seize assures easier disassembly. Temperature range: -60°F to 1600°F (-51°C to 871°C). Salt, corrosion and moisture resistant ideal for marine use. Non-aerosol version meets Mil Spec #907E. Aerosol – Level 3*

DIRECTIONS:

For best results, part surfaces must be clean and free of grease.
Apply a light coating of product to parts.
Assemble parts.
Wipe away any excess compound.

Automobile:

Suggested Applications: For easy removal of spark plugs, cylinder head and exhaust head bolts; apply to anchor pins on brake assemblies, u-bolts and spring bolts, hinges, gears, chain, sprockets and rollers.

Motorcycle:

Suggested Applications: Axle assembly

Heavy Duty:

Suggested Applications: Prevents seizing and galling of all metals on chassis and engines. Withstands temperatures up to 1600°F.

Marine:

Permatex® Belt Dressing & Conditioner

Lubricants

Features and Benefits:

Extends belt life. Penetrates the cord fibers of “V” belts to restore pliability and flexibility. Prevents belt slippage due to heat, cold, dampness, dust and glazing. Eliminates squeaking and slipping. Level 1*

DIRECTIONS:

Shake well. Attach extension tube. While engine is running, spray lightly on inner working surface of belt near smallest or upper most pulley. Allow belt to run for several minutes to condition and cure dressing. Reapply as needed. Do not spray on pulleys.

Automobile:

Suggested Applications: Fan belts, water pumps, power steering, sewing machines, washing machines, air conditioners, lawn mowers, and power tools.

Permatex® Ceramic Extreme Brake Parts Lubricant

Lubricants

Features and Benefits:

A 100% synthetic formula, coupled with real ceramic solids make this premium brake lubricant our longest lasting, most temperature resistant way to silence brake noise. Effective from -50°F to 3000°F (-46°C to 1649°C), this product maintains its lubricating integrity under the most extreme conditions. Resistant to corrosion and contaminants, it will not wash out. For metal-to-metal contact only. For metal-to-metal contact only.

DIRECTIONS:

Clean parts to be lubricated with Permatex^® Brake & Parts Cleaner.
Apply small amount to caliper hardware and backing plates to create uniform surface areas and prevent noise.
Lubricant may also be used as a noise suppressor to eliminate caliper brakesqueal by applying to the BACK of the brake pad.

DO NOT APPLY TO ANY BRAKING SURFACES.

Automobile:

Permatex® Copper Anti-Seize Lubricant

Lubricants

Features and Benefits:

A premium quality copper anti-seize and thread lubricant that may be used to prevent seizing, corrosion and galling where high-temperature conditions exist. Contains a high percentage of micro-fine copper flakes in a semi-synthetic grease carrier and is fortified with high quality rust and corrosion inhibitors. Temperature range: -30°F to 1800°F (-34°C to 982°C). Provides good electrical conductivity.

DIRECTIONS:

STIR WELL BEFORE USING.

For best results, remove dirt, oil and grease.
Apply Anti-Seize lubricant to parts that require protection.
Wipe away excess lubricant.

DIRECTIONS:

Directions for Connectors:

Make sure ignition system is off.
Clean surface with Permatex^® Contact Cleaner.
Coat both parts of terminal contact with Dielectric Grease.
Reassemble, maintaining metal-to-metal contact.

Permatex® Disc Brake Quiet

Lubricants

Features and Benefits:

Stops brake squeal by dampening vibration at caliper/brake pad interface. Provides tighter fit and allows for easier disassembly. Protects against corrosion. Compatible with anti-lock brake systems. This product contains an elastomeric polymer for use with brake pads not having anti-squeal shims. Aerosol – Level 3*

DIRECTIONS:

Shake well. Apply to metal backs of new brake pads; or remove squeaking pads from caliper, clean with Permatex^® Brake and Parts Cleaner and apply to pad backing.

DO NOT APPLY TO FRICTION SIDE OF PADS, caliper, rotors or other moving mechanisms. Allow to set for 10 minutes and reassemble. May install while tacky.

DIRECTIONS:

Shake well. Protect painted surfaces from overspray. Apply a light coating of FAST BREAK^® to frozen joint or part. Tap the joint to set up vibration. Parts will separate. Stubborn cases may require repeated applications or a short soaking period.

DIRECTIONS:
